What does Pixcel actually do?
Creative IT: on-site break/fix within 50 miles, remote support over TeamViewer, private hosting, one-time web design, and logo/branding. One shop instead of a pile of vendors.
Do I need an account to start?
Checkout for hosting, design, branding, and retainers needs an account so the work lives on one login. IT appointments can be booked with just a name and email.
Where are you based?
Upstate New York. On-site work is a 50-mile radius from the shop. Remote, hosting, design, and branding have no mileage limit.
How do I pay?
Hosting, design, branding, and retainers check out on the site (account required). IT is requested on the calendar; you pay for time after we confirm the window.
How do I book on-site?
Enter your ZIP on this page. If you are inside 50 miles, Book on-site visit unlocks and the form opens in a modal. Someone 18+ must be there.
What if my ZIP is outside 50 miles?
We will not book on-site. Use remote IT over TeamViewer instead — no mileage limit.
Do I need TeamViewer installed?
Download TeamViewer QuickSupport from TeamViewer’s official site before a remote window. You do not need a TeamViewer account. You click Allow and can disconnect anytime.
What should I have ready for remote?
The machine powered on and online, someone who can click Allow, any admin password you are willing to type, and a short list of what broke. If it cannot get on the network, that is an on-site job.
Can I cancel an appointment?
Yes — at least 24 hours ahead at no charge. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, the minimum increment is due (one hour on-site, one 30-minute block remote).
Are parts included?
No. Labor is the hourly (or 30-minute) rate. Parts, licenses, and shipping are extra with your OK.
Do I have to buy a domain?
No. Every plan includes a temporary URL so you can launch first. Add a name later if you want one.
I already own a name. Can I use it?
Yes. Add it at checkout as “I already own it” and point DNS when the box is up. Hosting and domains each work without the other.
What backups are included?
30-day rolling copies, daily, on every plan, plus manual snapshots from your account whenever you want a known-good copy.
What is a vault?
A paid add-on that keeps rolling copies longer: 90 days or 1 year. Manual snapshots stay on every plan even without a vault.
Can I cancel hosting?
Monthly. First month may be refunded within 7 days if we have not done custom setup. After that the current month is not prorated. See the Terms.
What’s the difference between Spark, Signal, and Studio?
Spark is one page ($199). Signal is up to five pages plus contact and SEO ($499). Studio is full custom — motion, merch, community — in the class of yosoykush.fun ($999).
What counts as hourly?
Anything past the card: extra pages, a merch drop, a weird animation, “can it also…” Prepaid hours are $85 each and sit in the cart as a one-time add-on.
Do you write copy and shoot photos?
You provide copy, logos, and photos, or we quote that as hours. Stock and licenses pass through at cost.
Is hosting included?
No. Hosting is optional and billed separately. Studio can launch on Pixcel Hosting if you add a plan.
When does work start?
After the one-time plan is paid. We scope from the card, send drafts, use your included rounds, then launch.
When is the plan fee earned?
After a first draft is delivered. Unused prepaid hours: 14-day refund if unused, then they expire in 90 days.
Can I add a logo at the same time?
Yes — branding is a separate one-time kit on the Brand page. Design is the site; Brand is the mark. They pair cleanly at checkout.
What’s the difference between Mark, Identity, and Kit?
Mark ($249) is logo + wordmark files. Identity ($549) adds color, type, usage, and social sizes. Kit ($899) is the full set: lockups, favicon, social, and a one-page brand sheet.
Do you file the trademark?
No. You own the final mark when the plan is paid. Trademark filing is yours; we can point you at it.
What files do I get?
SVG and PNG at usable sizes. Identity and Kit add lockups and social sizes. Kit adds favicon, app icon, and a one-page brand sheet.
How many concepts and rounds?
Mark: 2 concepts, 2 rounds. Identity: 3 rounds. Kit: 4 rounds. New directions after that are hourly at $85.
Can this pair with a website?
Yes. Branding is the mark; Design is the site. They check out separately and work together.
What if I want merch or motion later?
That’s hourly after the plan — extra lockups, merch dielines, motion. Same $85 rate as other custom work.
Who owns the logo?
You get a license to use the delivered final mark for your business when the plan is paid in full. See the Terms.
What do you need from me to start?
The name, what you sell, who it’s for, what you hate, and examples if you have them. Work starts after the kit is paid.
Is this form a support ticket?
No. IT is booked on the IT Solutions calendars. Use this form for hosting, design, branding, or anything that isn’t a timeslot.
When do you answer?
Weekdays, 9–5 Eastern. After-hours is an add-on on a booked job, not a hotline.
Why do I need an account to check out?
So hosting, snapshots, retainers, and signed Terms live on one login. Guest checkout is off on purpose.
Can I book IT from this page?
No. Go to IT Solutions, check a ZIP for on-site, or open the remote calendar. This form will not hold a slot.
